I've been doing this for about two years.. In summer 2006 I got my first digital cam, Sony DSC-H2 which is a 6mpix camera, not too bad and not too good, but was enough for a start.

Basically, I planned making mugshots of myself to share with my friends online, but then I discovered flickr and saw all the amazing photos made by amateur photographers without any serious studio equipment. Then I came across Lara Jade's gallery and fell in love with her work and so I got inspired.. So I started experimenting trying to get better shots and later somehow I got noticed on the site, a few on my works made it to the explore. I've even been a #1 a few times...

Later the burnout happened (long story:P) but recently I got a new camera, so my interest in photography is back. yay?

Things that you have been wondering, but were too afraid to ask...

What equipment do you use?
Cam: Canon EOS 450D
Lenses: Canon 50mm F1.4 USM and Canon 28-105mm F3.5 [everything before Sep 2008 was shot with Sony DSC-H2]

How old are you? where are you from?
I prefer to keep people guessing :)

Can I use your photos for my derivative works or my website, other misc projects?

How (bad) do you edit your pictures?
Editing is what actually 'makes' most of my shots, so my photos go through ALOT of changes before I'm completely happy with them. The primary technique that i use is dodging and burning on the face, also layer adjustments color tweaking etc, very often I split the image into areas mask them and treat each of them separately.

But to sum this up, no I don't look that good lol

What about the future?
I do it for fun and I kinda like it this way. it might change in the distant future who knows.

Well, if I don't post anything new for a long time, it means i'm most probably a)working b) busy with other stuff. I always come back though :P
